After the rain

After a night and day and another night of constant rain, the sun came out this morning! But it was cold! This is my favourite plant just emerging - a ginkgo.

I’m still puzzling over a news report that a politician in the House of Lords was caught texting on his phone, while driving a vintage bus at a charity event. He says it was ‘an error of judgement’. There were lots of those ‘errors’ from politicians during Covid. I can’t see how blatantly breaking the law by texting while driving can be ‘an error of judgement’. It’s just WRONG.
