Endless rain!

It rained all last night and all today. I noticed I had parked in a pothole! The ‘view’ is if a Cornish palm tree through my car windscreen. I had to go out in the rain for an eye test. When I got home all I wanted was a hot drink and to get warm. But my house fuse had tripped so I had to venture back out to the garage to restore the electricity.

My eye test resulted in an urgent referral! It seems I only have to wait two weeks for this. I was told it wasn’t worth giving me new prescription glasses until after the referral appointment. because my vision might change again. So, with the money I haven’t spent on new glasses I can afford to have the car serviced! Its annual service is two months overdue.
