Patterns

I drove to visit my dad who lives on the outskirts of Cardiff (South Wales, UK) and as the fuel is a lot cheaper I filled up at a supermarket in Cardiff Bay.

This week's W-I-D-E on Wednesday Challenge theme is 'patterns' and just along from the Supermarket is a large building in which The Cardiff Devils ice hockey team play which has striking patterned cladding.  I always like to get people in my photo's and the youngsters playing street football helped out!

My dad and I had a chat for a good couple of hours. We speak most nights but always good to pop in and visit but a good hour trip each way make it take up most of the day. It hasn't rained today as predicted but it's very windy. I'm hoping it stays dry and the sun returns for the Easter weekend.
