Puzzlewood

Amelia's mum arrived at our house mid-morning and by midday we were all at nearby Puzzlewood, Coleford (Forest of Dean) Gloucestershire. It's a local place we've not been before so good to see what was on offer.

It'a designated ancient forest that has been used as a film location for many famous films such as:   Star Wars, Merlin, Jack the Giant Slayer, Dr Who, The Huntsman, The Secret Garden, Atlantis, Harry Potter, A Midsummer Night's Dream, plus other tv shows!

Besides a good walk around 'maze' of a forest there are animals, a play park and covered area plus cafe and picnic areas. We enjoyed a good three hours before we headed home. Luckily the forecast rain held off and it was mostly warm.
