Reading
My day started with a foot treatment. The corn on my left foot came back during all the walking in Spain but now it's gone, the foot is ready for summer.
Johan, singer in the Tom Waits band, trained actor, teacher and involved in a lot of things. He initiated the Shakespeare performance where I got to play some John Dowland music, from that idea he wrote "Shakespeares dream", the play about how A Midsummernights dream came to be. Before that play he also wrote a play about a danish expedition during the mid seventeen hundreds, to Arabia. He has gathered the poems from that play into a book and was asked by the author to also publish an e-book. He asked me if I could do the recording, which I'm happy to help him with, it's my first ever recording of that kind and I thought it could be interesting to try. It didn't take very long to do, he is a very good reader and the whole book has only eighteen poems and a foreword so we had it done in about three hours, including testing and listening. Great fun!
After he left I remembered the blip from the reading which I had planned today but I'm sure you can imagine him sitting in that very chair, reading.
