Words of wisdom?

I came across these painted stones on my morning walk with Bertie at Quinish.  I have no idea who has put them in place (one in a niche in a mossy wall and the other in the knobbly bark of a tree) nor do I know whether I missed some other stones, or perhaps I will discover more have been added during the weeks to come.
Nick and I decided to take the motorhome out for a drive to check everything was operating as it should because we are going away in it for a few days next week. All was well and we enjoyed a lovely walk in the sunshine with Bertie along the shore at Garmony.
