Mono Monday: Week 586 ...
... not.
I was all set to post something for Mono Monday today ... we even went to a construction site that is nearby when we were running errands this morning.
But when I saw that we still have the White-throated sparrows visiting our yard ... it simply had to be one of them. They will soon be leaving us ... as well as the dark-eyed juncos and other winter birds ... for their Northern breeding grounds. I always look forward to their return in the Fall ... even if it means cold weather will soon be here. They are the sweetest little winter visitors. Please have a look full screen.
But for now we are on the look out for the warm weather birds to arrive. Including the gray catbirds and ruby-throated hummingbirds. I love both of these beautiful birds. Well ... actually I love all birds! Which is very apparent if you look through my journal!
