Alternate title:  The Money Shot.

Even though it's still quite chilly out today I spent a little time in the sunroom photographing the wildlife before lunch.  

And was quite pleased with this shot of the Blue jay enjoying a rather large peanut.  And incredibly lucky to get shot of a beautiful female Northern Cardinal in our neighbors flowering tree. 

After lunch we headed out for a nice walk at Louise Moore County Park.  We were hoping for some sunshine ... but we only got a slight glimpse of some!  Most of the walk was windy and cold.  Where the heck has Spring gone!

In other news:  In some wishful thinking we hung out our hummingbird feeder yesterday.  Since late February I've been checking out the Hummingbird migration map watching their progress north.  There have been some sightings just south of us ... so hopefully it won't be long now before we start seeing them at our feeder.  But my guess is we probably won't see any before our next vacation in early May.
