A lonely Tulip no others around

The only ones that were once there were pink, no sign of them just this one.
Reminds me of a song but that was a Lonely little petunia in an onion patch.

Been quite cool today but we have been pruning a large overgrown  bush and removing the garden seat that was disintegrating underneath it, revealing the lovely stone wall that was build years ago and making more room on the patio where I put all my pots of plants. There was a lot of soil to remove too which seems to have washed down from the garden over time, or dug out by Tanzy looking for the rats last year, that is now either back on the garden or removed to another spot.

The apple trees are full of blossom this year so I hope we don't have a frost to kill it.

The chap next door chopped down my lovely Rowan Tree at the end of my garden and when I asked him why he said the branches were scratching his car, which they weren't because I kept it pruned back from their garden, so I said it would have been more polite to speak to me and I would have pruned it back and he said well I've done it for you, which I replied no you have just chopped it down thats not pruning.  I was very annoyed and upset because it wasn't too big and it had lovely berries for the blackbirds. But he seems to hate trees and anything green. he has chopped branches off the cherry tree in the back garden too. They overhang their garden, not by much though.

Would you believe it, I made an appointment the other week at the Dentist for the 23rd April. and yesterday Paula got a message with a hospital appointment for the same day, so I had to cancel mine now it's June before I can have one. I knew it would happen, "Sod's Law" as my old boss used to say.  I have to go with her or she would get totally lost in the hospital. I once took notice of her although I was pretty sure we should turn right and not left and we ended up down in the bowels of the hospital totally lost, lucky we saw someone who said take the lift up 2 floors then you are ground level.

Thats it for now, shopping day tomorrow it comes round too quickly. It's my son Mark's Birthday Tuesday and Paula's Wednesday.
