Orchid

I spent most of today cleaning the greenhouse, which had got a lot of green algae on the outside. I'd normally do it in the Autumn, but couldn't last year due to my rib injury. I took what should have been a quick break to buy a ticket from Norfolk Tulips for their annual fundraising for Tapping House generated by opening up their tulip fields for a few weeks. Unfortunately the website for purchases crashed a few mins after opening and it took an hour to come back online - but ticket purchased in the end. After lunch whilst cleaning the greenhouse I managed to rip the nail on my right index finger which tore through the nail bed - there was quite a bit of blood but I managed to stop it eventually. So I finished the work largely left handed! I'd forgotten to take a photo for blip, so my new orchid came in handy.
