Sycamore Flowers

My new, second hand macro lens arrived last Friday. I took it out with me today on my trip to the pharmacy to collect meds, Basil trotting in attendance. It was too good an opportunity to photograph all the Spring flowers en route.

Back home, Len was ready to go to Loughborough to shop at M&S. I don't know what he wanted. I should have asked for GF hot cross buns.

Len went into Muffin Break for refreshments. For the second time that we've visited recently he came out saying there were no gluten free muffins. If that were true, there would be no reason for me to go there anymore. I went in to investigate. 

They have low gluten muffins made exactly the same way as they were made before. I tried to explain how gluten free products all contain a very small amount of gluten, it's impossible to remove it entirely and it seems it's about contamination in the baking area.

Well, with the best will in the world, my kitchen is not totally gluten free although I do have my own slots on the toaster.

I bought a low gluten muffin and ate it. I'll tell you the results.

Something however, made Basil mildly sick.
