Coming into Leaf

It's such a magical time. For months now, we have sat on the verandah at the Beacon Hill cafe gazing at these bare branches and now they are blooming green. It's so uplifting.

We came there really to give Basil a good run. As usual, I sat on one of the wooden benches and didn't really follow Len and Basil's walk around the ground. They were back sooner than I expected.
