Sa Pa

So my 'light' trekking option still involved walking up what seemed like an endless mountain! It was worth it though, saw a great waterfall in the valley. Visiting one of the local villages wasn't very authentic as it was constantly 'Miss, you buy?' but it was cool seeing how they weave and dye their traditional dress which most of them still wear.

The scenery is breathtaking yet again but different to the rest of the country because of the altitude. I'm hoping to get a nice photo of the terraced rice paddies tomorrow.

Almost torrential rain to add to the fun so this is a shot from my hotel room balcony. The rain starts so suddenly and heavily that I'm wary getting anything electronic out in the open!

New food: badly microwaved fish with luke warm overcooked cauliflower, mmmm...
