Birdwatching
This is the view from our favourite local gallery, Cample Line https://campleline.org.uk/. I was having a quick look at the latest exhibition, “Between The Two Fires” by textile artist Sayan Chanda, before going outside with a cup of tea to sit with the dogs. D stayed to listen to Tina’s guided tour of the exhibits.
While I was sitting outside, I was excited to hear my first Blackcap of 2025. This was only one of many birds which I either saw or heard or both - including blackbird, robin, chiffchaff, willow warbler, blue tit, chaffinch, jackdaw and long tailed tit. It’s a ggreat wee spot for birdwatching. In the photo, you can see the viaduct which carries the trains between Dumfries and Glasgow.
A few drops of rain fell today but the sunshine returned and D dropped me off on the way home so that I could have a walk :-)
