Looking west...
Hookney Tor was empty this morning all the ponies and cattle had gone but we could still see small groups of them spread around about.
It was a fine morning but cool and the sun was still low in the sky casting the shadow of our tor onto Challacombe across the valley. The red light from the morning sun is reflected onto the rocks and the clouds.
Away to the right you can see the little white building which is the Warren House Inn, the red colour of the moor around it is the heather just coming into bloom
The dark green vegetation is bracken which in growing quite tall and thick at the moment.
In the far left of the picture you can see the Prison at Princetown
