Peacock Butterfly

It was noticeably cooler this morning - a chill in the wind again and not as much sunshine! At least it remained dry.

I was fortunate to find this peacock butterfly resting on the ground - and it obligingly opened its wings as I knelt down to photograph it!

I may have to find some indoor blip material for the next week or two if the weather forecast (for rain) is to be believed.
