Meanwhile, our otherwise excellent wee hotel was letting itself down badly by agreeing a late room checkout yesterday and then rescinding the offer today and chucking us out of our room 5 hours before our agreed time. Shame, they've been otherwise great and it's left a sour taste. I've complained but they've reverted to shrugging shoulders and being sullen.
