It turns out that my neighbours (on the opposite side from the loom band neighbours) have also been planning a trellis, which went up today. I think the canes are real bamboo but the vine leaves are plastic. They will go with their astro-turf. I got the Amazon cardboard box for my compost heap.

I have spent the day clearing access to the wall where I need to instal the next set of vine eyes. That meant dealing with two brick piles, so I used them to make plinths for my water butts. Which are also plastic and very ugly, but nicer ones cost a fortune.

Some seeds I ordered have arrived so I also spent time looking for my seed trays. I'm not quite sure how to do the next stage now that the greenhouse has gone.
