Honesty

A brighter start to the day, light cloud which soon burnt off. The breeze was much cooler than yesterday, but still very warm. A nice wee morning walk. No views, and the heat haze messed up the Edinburgh Castle photo. But a nice photo of an Honesty, Lunaria, plant. I like the silvery seed pods. Not many Honesty flowers around at the moment, and the plants that have appeared are quite small. I think that it is probably due to the very dry conditions we have had this Spring.

It's Friday, so a walk to the café for Friday coffee and cake. Still quite breezy. I was hoping for some butterfly photos, but none appeared. And the views on the walk were worse than lunchtime. A nice relaxing way to start the weekend.

A nice relaxing evening as well. I had to smile at the reports of a snow weather bomb hitting the UK next week from a couple of tabloid news websites. The forecast of overnight temperatures of 5degC is quite a bit warmer than the overnight temperatures we have had this week.
