Unexpected!
So much for our quiet P4N. A big 4x4 parked up in front of us just as we were about to have breakfast. The couple in it were marshals for the RAC rally. And soon afterwards cars started tearing up to them, checking in and roaring off again. It would be a dream spot for some to be able to count the colourful cars. We decided to stay till they had all gone through - over 2 hours. Then we headed back towards Saughtree and on to Kielder then home.
Our passports have arrived complete with visa. Wild Frontiers said to allow 6-8 weeks which meant we had to book the trip for the end of May when it will be very hot. Travcour the visa people said 3 weeks was fine but we didn't risk it - if there was an issue it would be our fault for ignoring their advise.
Bathroom Chris has got the loo, bath and basin in place but the cistern is overflowing. I hope he can sort it before he goes on holiday.
#3 daughter had booked us tickets for Live Theatre - Josie Lawrence. Our Irish friends are coming over in May so we’ve arranged for them to come to eat with us. Lots of nice things to take my mind off the knee!
