The Show Must Go On . . . Queen

We had pulled out old swan plants and when the forester went to load them on the truck he found eight caterpillars wriggling around.  They had to be rescued and are now living inside.  This morning I saw one in the process of metamorphosis.  Extra, the black caterpillar skin retracted to reveal the green chrysalis.  There was a lot of wriggling to achieve this.  The chryslis has plumped up and is now smoother than in the main blip.
Jennie has arrived safely and we will take her exploring tomorrow.
