Hospital, horses and home
Had my laser surgery on my right eye. The film which had formed on the new lens (the lens inserted after cataract removal) was removed by laser. It took about 15 minutes. I have steroid drops to use for 5 days and a follow-up appointment later this month.
We had to go back this afternoon to get my prescription as I didn't want to hang around waiting a minimum of 45 minutes for it this morning and on the way back we were in a very slow moving queue of traffic due to a pony and cart which seemed to be driven by 2 children and it was all over the road! The pony was barely the size of a donkey and one of the children kept whipping it to try to keep it from going all over the road - but it was not working. the kids clearly should not have been left alone with this. Extra is photo of it going left from the traffic lights junction where it had held up traffic from 4 directions while they seemed to be trying to get it to go straight on! A bad photo as I took it from a bad video but you will get the idea.
A bit further down the road another pony and cart was holding up traffic but was being driven much more safely and it turned off to join another one parked up (see extra) - must be some sort of special event!
Another lovely day and the temperature gauge measured 20.8 in full shade in our back garden this afternoon.
