Balloons at Breakfast

Got up rather earlier than we'd choose to take the balloons we'd blown up to early breakfast, and to sing Happy Birthday to Allegra, who turns nine today. She's had a fair few of her birthdays on the Iberian peninsula, and we were just leaving Spain on the ferry when we heard she'd been born.

She got sung to in Portuguese and English, and has had a happy day, in spite of not being with any of her friends, so that's good. She and Zion are doing really well, fitting in with all the kids here - over a hundred of them.

Gratefuls:
- our lovely eldest granddaughter, love you, girl!
- time for a longer walk along the very windy seafront (by missing a seminar)
- being together with so many wonderful people

Blipping earlier than normal, as we have the British AGM now, and might be late back, and I need sleep.
