Here we come…

The apple tree is now at its most lovely stage - some open white/pink blossoms, but still mainly closed deeper pink buds. Happily there seems to be a fair number of bees around, they’ll need to visit hundreds of times…
Yet another rather joyful day of warm sunshine… some gardening, and quite a bit of weeding at my allotment too.  Gradually getting it into good order so I can plant out some squash and courgettes soon. All the fruit trees and bushes are in place and doing fairly well. 
I had an interesting time listening to several episodes of a BBC radio programme called soul music - where a a particular song is chosen, and people are interviewed about what the song, and the artist, mean to them. Including Joan Baez ‘Diamonds and Rust’, Nick Drake ‘Northern Sky’ both so beautiful. Really good radio, and there seems to be hundreds to choose from.
