From Sofology To Chairogrpahy
Today's image was taken on another lone local photographic safari. I had taken one of my usual routes for a late afternoon walk when I came across this scene around the back of our neighbourhood Sofology store (where everyone goes to capture an image surely!), a local furniture retailer.
There was just something about the colours - especially the shades of green, orange and purple of the chair in a state of some decrepitude, which I consider to be the star of the show - and the golden glow from the late afternoon sun that just appealed to me. I also liked the way the light had caught the metal hoarding in the background (which was inscribed with the instruction "left upright", which has clearly been ignored!). It almost felt like the scene had been curated or choreographed purely to catch my particular blip eye! :-)
