Warm sunny day! Well, if you kept out of the cold breeze, preferably sitting behind a hedge, in full sun - then you could almost believe spring had sprung. But out round the streets it was nippy enough.
Archie did his usual wending stroll through the daffodils - they're just the right height for him - muttering to himself, depending on what smells he caught. Some of the first ones are past now, but different ones are planted all along the path.
Then we sat in the front garden. Elizabeth and Hazel popped by to say hello.
JR then went off to the supermarket, and I came inside, the sun having moved on from the front to the back garden, but I didn't bother going out again. It's quite hard to read on a phone/iPad in full sunlight (I can hear actual book lovers shouting at me). I'm afraid that I dozed off while JR and Archie went out for a walk. I'm quite good at dozing off in the afternoon...
