Rockery

It's been a day of crossing all the small but essential things off the list.  I was feeling fed up first thing because I heard yesterday that the result from my knee x ray was 'no further action' with no explanation and no one to speak to about it.  How can there be no further action if I am still in discomfort, especially overnight?  I was told the GP who referred me could telephone me to talk me through the x ray, but that wouldn't be until 1st May....

So I was back hanging on the phone from 8am this morning to see if I could get another personal or telephone appointment with a different doctor.  I was no.20 in the queue so I made the mistake of asking for a callback, forgetting that I hadn't switched the volume back up on my phone after nighttime!  Yes you guessed, I missed my callback and when I realised at 8.30 I rang back and  all the appointments had gone.  I'll be back on the phone at 8 in the morning, what a system.  

It's been another glorious day so jobs done I went out to do some weeding in the border after lunch.  I didn't stay out too long because it was really too hot.  However, I did take this blip of the rockery which is beginning to bloom.  Above the rockery is the mini meadow which is also growing and I recognised several plants in it today.
