The Pensioner

Damn that coastal haar; it was supposed to be a fine sunny day. But burn off it did and I moseyed over to the boat with MrB who seems to be getting a bit of use again after the winter.
Things to do such as interior woodwork and attempting to get the engine strip light working again. A voltmeter with a flat battery isn’t the best diagnostic tool.
And much later, back over there for the boat club meeting. F2F as we used to say. Lift-in is getting closer: the excitement is palpable. But we haven’t got the hot filled rolls organised. As we’ve split the harbour secretary’s responsibilities between harbour and yard, we better make sure that lands in someone’s lap and doesn’t fall between two stools.
As for me, I’m going to check that everyone has their £3m third party insurance in place. That’ll make me popular.
