Wild Wednesday ...

... Eastern Fence Lizard.

We had a great day at the North Carolina Arboretum located in Asheville today.  

And we even saw our first Ruby-throated hummingbird!  Unfortunately, I did not get any decent photos.  

Thank goodness we also saw this lizard ... which I think is an Eastern fence lizard.  If anyone knows any different please let me know.

Tomorrow we will leave Lake Lure to start our journey home.  We used to make the trip home in one day (10-12 hours journey) but for the past several years we have made the trip in two days.  We stop along the way in Virginia before continuing home the next day.  So by this time on Friday we should be home with our kitties!
