This giant teddy bear, propped up against “Household Waste”, was the first thing I saw when I arrived this morning with a car laden with stuff for the tip.
In the end he was saved. (see extra).
 
By the way what do you call these places? the tip or the dump? Stirling Council refer to it as the Household Waste Recycling Centre. Once you could just turn up. Now you must book online. Bad luck if you are not computer savvy.

Yes, there is a phone service ,provided you can find the number buried on their website , and you are prepared to wait, then jump throughs several hoops  ( press button 1…..)  to get to a real person.
