Waitz

New challenges, March and April has been full of them, very exciting and I get to learn a lot.

This seven piece band started as a Tom Waits band, arranging and singing his songs in Swedish. That was years ago, now they are doing mostly their own music, with swedish lyrics but still in the spirit of Tom Waitz. The band has a sold out concert in the north part of my island and they needed someone to run the sound for them during the concert. They asked and I said yes because I've done it before, but never with an iPad as my only tool. There was only one rehearsal too and that was today, the concert is on friday. I'm sure it will be fine, I tell myself. You'll know all about it on friday.
