Don't worry I'll dry on your lap
Busy day today.
An old friend from England and fellow blipper arrived this morning - he's been doing a reconnaissance trip around Saint-Malo the past few days. We shared breakfast and then went for a sort cycle to Cancale. In Cancale I didn't drop into a low enough gear on a steep decent and when we restarted at the bottom I wasn't in a low enough gear and fell off in a comedy roll to one side. No damage to my bike or clothes, and I got straight back on and was okay - and didn't think anything more of it.
By the time we had made it back home and had a shower, my right wrist was complaining. I must have sprained it more than I thought and I now have zero strength in it and it hurts if I try to use it. It's not broken for sure, but I did whack the bones and probably stretched the tendons more than they want..
In the afternoon we took the dog to the beach - the light was harsh, but the dog had a wonderful time running and doing dog things. I think OutdoorEd had a nice time too: Relaxation.
After the beach walk we had tea and cake at my mother-in-law's and the dog (dried on my lap) was willing to say hello to Ed and let him pat him.
