Primulas

I think these are Primulas.  They were nestled in a grass verge among a huge sea of primroses, but as primroses are all yellow and these are a nice shade of purple/pink, depending on your colour perception I decided that they are to be primulas. 

I got rid of my surgeon imposed "boot' on Monday and told I can start to "get mobile" again despite my left foot being twice the size of my right after surgery 6 weeks ago!  I'm up to walking for about 15 minutes at the moment before the swelling becomes even worse and my foot feels like it will explode. It will be at least 6 weeks before I can start running again, but hoping to get to the gym before for some gentle cardio work.
