Monday. It’s much quieter in the house today. Vanessa and most of the boys have started the Easter holidays, so apart from Milo and me, no one has to be up and out early. The sunny spring weather continues; I hear we will have lovely weather right up until our next walk at the weekend when the rain is due to return! I was supervising in the main office all day at work, and it was very busy—Mondays usually are.

Monty has recovered well from his marathon broiling yesterday—he is made of stern stuff—and is already talking about training for another one to prove to himself he can do it.
