Tuesday already
The weeks seem to be flying by at the moment, I'm having to keep a really close eye on my calendar - thank goodness for electronic diaries.
Today I got stuck into some paperwork then headed off to return a package to Amazon. I'd bought some new sheets for the cot bed and was really disappointed by the quality. The replacements are 200 count Egyptian cotton. Hopefully nice and smooth, and were not much dearer, the others felt very rough.
From there to a local alterations shop. The tunics I bought recently from SeaSalt were all rather long, more like dresses so I've finally bitten the bullet and taken them in to have them shortened. To me a tunic should be mid thigh, not knee length, as these were. Too long as tunics but shorter than I would feel comfortable with as a dress (well actually I wouldn't wear a dress in the first place).
As it was Tuesday, I spent the afternoon in the charity shop. Friendly and chatty as ever, some of the customers are getting to know me.
When I got home we organised dinner then settled down and watched half of the first episode of Grace. Neither of us was up for a two hour session though so we'll watch the other half tomorrow.
Colin has been looking for some gifts for his trip to the States. I spotted these in the tailor's shop. Hand made, they are beautifully lined and have an inside pocket too. They'll make a nice Scottish gift - even though the tailor is Polish - she smiled when I told her where they were going.
