Cinque Terre Day 2
We set out after breakfast to walk from Monterosso to Venazza. It was a great path, lots of steps to climb but good views and enough vegetation to keep the sun off some of the time. It was warm but not too hot so ideal really. Venazza was lovely and we got lunch in the middle of the town. We then hopped on the train and having decided to skip climbing up to Corniglia today, we carried on to Manrola. Of the five towns this is the poster boy and you could see why, the blipped shot had been taken a lot of times by other photographers and it was easy to see why. I may pop back for an evening shot later this week. We took the train back to Monterosso at the end of the afternoon and explored a bit more before grabbing dinner and then heading to our hotel. I popped out for some more blue hour shots but much of the town is filled with a full film crew shooting for an upcoming film so photographers weren’t very welcome!
20,500 steps, it’s been a good day.
