High Pressure with No Pressure
The sun is out and the sky is blue and although there is still that northerly nip to the air, it is a hot ‘sit oot’ if I can hug the corner of the patio. It was not always thus. It was a chilly bleak start to the day as I wended my way to meet the dipping BlueTits beach side. The haar had floated in overnight and was hanging on Arthur’s Seat. There was a chilly breeze off the sea but it looked much brighter towards Fife which gave me reason to hope. This paid off because by the time I turned the key in the Dower House lock, the sky was clearing and the sun was breaking through.
Although the Easter Holidays have started and the city is crawling with tourists, the bus journey home was definitely quicker as there seemed to be far fewer commuters.
It’s another afternoon in the sun for this Lady who lives by the maxim -‘All Play and No Work’ is the way forward while the sun is out and skies are blue.
