Woodland
Started the day with the long drive home after yesterday's funeral - thank you all for your kind comments. I set off pretty early to try to miss the potential busy roads at the start of the Easter holidays. (I did, it was amazingly smooth, total journey time was under 4 1/2 hours - no stops)!
Blue, cloudless skies are hardly the ideal conditions for landscape photography. Neither is a weekend at the beginning of the Easter holidays where Crow Park by the edge of the lake resembles a busy beach.
I armed myself with my Infra Red Olympus camera, and took a quiet walk through some woodland near the town centre. No people, and I did like the way the IR copes with deep shadows and bright skies. Still no foliage on these trees, so a more subtle IR effect - more a straight mono picture (with a little colour left in).
