Distant Alps

We were up at 6am to get to the airport for our flight home. 

I enjoyed watching “Here”, a recent Tom Hanks movie that had totally passed me by, and “The Bucket List” which I’d never got round to seeing.

After 14 hours we arrived in Zurich where we had a couple of hours to kill before our connecting flight to Heathrow. This is the (heavily zoomed) view from the lounge where the Alps were looking tempting…. maybe next time!

As it happened our flight was delayed by 45 minutes and we were grateful to fall in to another hotel airport bed just after midnight, having been travelling for over 26 hours.
