Pilgrimage in Ilkley?

Miss H and I went to the Continental Market in Ilkley today. Bought some very good bread, but other than that I don't think the stalls were as good as previous years. It was still good to see so many people out and about and enjoying themselves.

On the way home we spotted several people walking towards the cow and calf car park all wearing long white garments. On a whim of intrigue I pulled into the car park and realised there were many people all heading up the foot path. Sadly I only had my compact with me and I couldn't get parked so it was a snap shot of the car window, so this is the best I managed to get. I can only assume it was a picnic/meeting / gathering to celebrate Eid, but if you know better please let me know.
