Goodbye Blackpool

Our last trip to the Cardiac Centre in Blackpool today for Mr P to get signed off by the consultant who performed his operation just over a year ago.  The conclusion was the operation has been successful. No flutter or fibrillation remains, buit his heart has stabilised with a  rather low resting heart rate , ie in the 40s. Much better than the 120 before the op. He's now at risk of fainting after a long days walking so has to make sure everyone around him is aware of it and can act accordingly. Ie get him on the floor with his feet up.
We celebrated our last visit by having lunch in the Parks Art Deco cafe in Stanley Park.
