Emergency Wasp

Well it makes a change from an emergency bee!

Firstly many, many thanks for all the comments and hearts for my milestone blip yesterday. I made it to page 1 which doesn't happen very often. You are a very generous lot.

I've done some blip admin today and watched a lot of cricket. Really hoping Somerset can start the season with a win, they are having tea at the moment.

Not much time for photography but I popped out into the garden, really in search of the bee fly which I noticed there yesterday. He wasn't around but I did get this wasp, on the rose bush growing up the trellis. A bit of interaction there with nature maybe.

Camera club this evening is another three way battle. I expect we will be third again, but I'm hoping we might squeeze into second place. I've got two images in our selection, including the extra, Baker Street. I'm posting it here because in other news I just got my first acceptance in the Cheltenham Salon with it. Yay! I feel a little bit down as I thought some of my other (rejected) submissions were better and more worthy, but I mustn't complain.
