Wound up in Wexford

Quite a slow start.  Then poached eggs for breakfast.  I didn't attempt to fit in any garden time, just spent some time in the sewing room choosing and cutting the fabrics for the last (for the moment) square.  W meanwhile had a morning in the kitchen - pikelets, rhubarb crumble (our rhubarb is growing madly) and a crunch tray bake.

Then in the afternoon I enjoyed a really good orchestra session - our new conductor works us hard, and for the full 3 hours.  I went shopping afterwards and returned to roast veggies with veggie sausages - our oven is heating up properly again, since the fan was replaced, and the potatoes were lovely and crispy on the outside for the first time in a while.
