Another lovely day, it’s odd having to remember to use sun protection outdoors. Various chores done in the morning, and some gardening.  Listening to a podcast I quite like called Legacy  - the current series is about John Lennon. Odd to think of him as history. 
Spent the afternoon at my allotment, quite a lot of digging and weeding and I planted some blackcurrant plants, though they’re quite small - so probably not many to eat this year. 
In the evening the Orkney film club watched ‘Paterson’ a beautiful Jim Jarmusch film about New Jersey bus driver who is also a poet, and his partner who is full of artistic and money making ideas. We follow them for a week, it’s so gentle, the characters are kind souls, they listen to each other, and absolutely nothing bad happens! A perfect film for now.
