DAN THE DUCK

Felt very tired this morning and didn't want to get up at all... so I slept for a while longer.  ( Quite a while longer )

After a late breakfast I got the bus to the Co-op.  Dropped off some soft plastic into the recycling bin there and did some shopping.  Then I got a bus down to the Convenience Store to pick up a parcel.  Walked along to Herons and Tesco for a bit more shopping and then walked home.  Weather was dry and very sunny but still on the chilly side.

When I got home I spotted a white carrier bag beside my bin.  When I opened it I discovered my new wooden duck.  I ordered him from a company in Amble so they must have delivered him in person.  He is described as a  " LIMITED EDITION, NUFC ,CARABAO CUP WINNER, 2025, EXCLUSIVE, NEWCASTLE UNITED, SELA, WOODEN DUCK, EXTRA LARGE WITH BOOTS ".  I have called him Dan after Dan Burn who was chosen as Man Of The Match in the Cup Final. This is my Silly Saturday blip.  Dan did have a silly start to his life here with being dumped by the bins - and he is is rather silly looking with his long neck and huge boots.  Thanks to davidc and his Editor for hosting in memory of Admirer.
