DNF but still got the pie

It was always going to be a risky run, but today the calf just didn’t hold out. I managed up Flounders Folley and over the Wenlock Edge but the Ragleth finished me off and I had to retire at mile 11. Thankfully, Holly’s parents were out supporting at that point so I managed to get a lift back to HQ with them. Told the organiser that I was sad that I didn’t make it to the Fidget Pie point but he said I could go get one from the centre. It was as good as I remembered.

Home for a bath full of Epsom salts and then out for Niki’s Birthday.
