The Flying Scotsman Rally….

Another dry , sunny day , but still a stiff chilly NE wind.
Cattle fed then various other jobs.
Littkemiss home from Uni so her and Mrs F off into Edinburgh for the day.
The Flying Scotsman Rally was passing this afternoon so went and stood at the road end to watch the cars going past. You could hear the transmission whine and the engine growl before they came over the hill from next door.
Proper cars , not like the same shape , different badge , touch screen, adblu or hybrid rubbish they build now.
Seemingly they left Harrogate on Friday morning and will finish at Gleneagles tomorrow night. Quite a drive for pre 1948 built vehicles . Bet none of today’s built ones will still be running in 75 years time !
