Geology

Our last day and still sunny, but also a cold wind.
We decided to attempt Ben More Coigach (featured in some previous blips/extras this week) but weren't sure about the wind.
It was a straightforward climb until near the top of the first pointy peak, though the wind wasn't pleasant at times, but then I chickened out. The last bit was steep and quite exposed and the wind was a bit worse, also my balance isn't as good as it used to be - and we would have to come back down the same way. It probably wasn't as bad as I feared but the idea of the walk was enjoyment, not struggle.
So we stopped for lunch, took some pics (2nd extra) and descended back over the wonderful sandstone slabs to the loch (1st extra) and track back to the car.
The plus side was we saw a Golden eagle and a Golden Plover (I think).
A bit of shopping and a cuppa in Ullapool and then we drove home, arriving slightly later than we might have as we decided to go via the new bridge over the Tay just north of Perth and find out own way back from there.
