Cloud caps

More sunshine but accompanied by a strong cold breeze.
We decided to go exploring and took the little roads to Lochinver with a loop round near Achiltibuie.
Many of the mountains had cloud caps, often the shape of the peak itself, and there were frequent photography stops.
Near Achiltibuie we climbed to a viewpoint with the Summer Isles and the coast southwards being very prominent (extra). we headed to the end of a road northwards and had a walk along the shore/cliffs.
Then on the next bit of road a stop for cloud caps over a loch with white horses (earlier, on a different loch, the white horses had rainbows), one of which we climbed the other day.
We'd forgotten how narrow the road to Lochinver is, fortunately it wasn't busy, but it did give more wonderful views of the mountains.
Next a walk in some woods just outside Lochinver, follwed by a cuppa in the village before returning on the main road - much quicker driving.
We stopped again at Inchnadamph for a short walk up the valley and then headed back to Ullapool and food from the Seafood Shack.
Now our last evening in front of the log fire.
