Apologies

I can't believe I am actually posting on the actual day and not back-blipping...but this blip-op arrived early - before dawn -  so why wait? The day is young; I am not too tired yet and feel capable of putting a few coherent words together...

TheToronto Star, my weekend newspaper, arrived at my door this morning with something to offer that was actually up-lifting..Imagine that! And what an opportunity for a blip - a happy blip. 

It was a full 2-page centrefold of letters from Americans in 25 different states apologizing for their president and wishing us the best!  Now, how neat is that? How thoughtful and caring these folks are to take the time to write...And how heart-warming to realize that with the current chaotic state of affairs in their own country and facing a whole raft of tariffs themselves, they care about us too ...

A big "Thank You" to everyone who wrote and to all those who feel the same and wish this whole fiasco had never happened. My best wishes go out to them as they are facing a scary future too. 

I will now go to CNN and watch some of the protests supposed to be happening today in the USA and perhaps in other parts of the world too?
